well most of us have been on a foreign holiday of some sort, but it is said that in years to come, it will be possible for the common man to travel into space. so, would you want to go? and if so why? or do you think that going into space would be just too weird and it would change the person that you are - a lot of the astronoughts said that going into space changed their whole perspective on life - any thoughts?

Yes it would change things I'd say, because everybody thinks on a world wide perspective. But when you are up there things must look different. To just see the planet you live on looking like a ball hanging in space must make you think differently. I'd love to see what it's like. I'd jump at it.
Couldn't be bothered with the moon why stand where others have been before..I'd prefer to explore the new recently discovered planets .
It'd be an experience alright, but there's about a million places on earth I'd want to go to first, and which I think would change my perception more.
why is everybody in such a hurry to get to the moon anyway? it's hardly like there's much to do when you get there apart from come home again. if that's all you want from a holiday go to france, it's much closer and will only cost a fraction of a moon trip!
